Guild Rules
Code of Conduct and Expectations

History of Stardrift

Our guild has been around for over 4 years. We have been farming instances since the start, this means we are a very solid and stable guild.

Player versus Enviroment
Stardrift is a PvE Guild. PvPing or being in a battleground when raids and invites are imminent is now allowed.

Stardrift Structure
One person at the top making all the decisions and the officers make those plans happen. The Guild is our first concern.

Atmosphere
Stardrift's members are equals. We go through good and bad times together. Respect is an important factor. We are like a family of which each member is an equal part of.
Being a part of that family requires effort, sacrifice and dedication. When you apply make sure this social factor appeals to you.

Guild Rules

Punctuality - Be on time.
Preparation - Have the best enchants and gems that gold can buy.
Communication - Have a working microphone and headset.

Finance - Have enough gold for repairs, enchants, gems, consumables.
Improvement - Be able to handle criticism, we point out failures so you can improve.
Respect - Don't trash talk to other people.
Solutions - Problems are to be resolved discreetly and by including an officer or the guild master.
Maturity - Never whine or slack. Always stay focused during raids. General chat is for non-raid times.
Pug Rules - Naxx10, Voa10 and EoE10 are open for you to pug. All other raid lockouts belong to the guild.

Addons requirements
Omen3.
Deadly Boss Mods.

Note that these addons are a must and occurance of random checkups are not uncommon.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in a warning or removal from the guild.

Raiding Rules

You are recruited as a single entity of a greater being. You are able to pull your own weight, without exception. Having a bad day is understandable. However, if you continue to be subjected to failures and screw ups, you will find our fuse to be shorter than it appeared. You have been warned.

Progress attained by preformance. Be all that you can be.
Always have your consumables ready before the raid! Raids can take upto 5 hours, your consumable supply should be adjusted accordingly.

Punctuality - Be on time.
We act as part of a greater whole. Individual players hold value - therefore we often need certain classes for certain encounters. If these people classes are late, we will replace them if it is a often occurence.

Anticipate - What is going to happen?
Raids start at a fixed time. Make sure you are ready and ungrouped when raid invites occur (18:55).

Availability - We must be able to reach you.
If you are passive to a raid you are supposed to be on vent. You can and often will be called upon to switch in a raid. Be available.

Concentration - Keep your head in the game.
We want progress, to obtain progress we need to be focused on fights. If you are 100% focused on fights - How can you see whats going on in general or guildchat?

Discussions - But you didn't stand in the fire!
Murphy's Law states that something will eventually go wrong. It might not have been your fault. You were doing your job just fine! No matter what happends - you keep personal vendetta's to yourself.
Discussions will lead to anger which in turn leads to a drop in morale. Resolve it after the raid with an officer.

Away from keyboard - AMG you guys its my grandma on the phone!
We appriciate the fact that WoW is only a game and that real life might get in the way sometimes. And you need to step away from the computer. If you agreed on our Attitude rule you've read above, you will
have a certain degree of respect for people. Enough respect to let us know what you are up to. Enough respect that you will not keep us waiting without reason.

Tactical Advantage - We know whats going to happen!
Boss behavior, abilities, hitpoints and others are all known beforehand. How would you like to go to a battle and know the location of all enemies? How would you like to know where to move, duck and cover before anything bad happends? Knowing how something will go down is half the battle. It gives you insight, fortitude and confidence that you know you can do this. Read up on bossfights. Be prepared.

Ventrilo - Not just for social moments.
During raids, ventrillo becomes the medium of tactical orders. Officers and officers alone will give direction, information and suggestions. During which you will be quiet. If you talk on vent while an officer is explaining something, 23 other people will not hear him and thus will not know what to do. Keep Vent clear during raids. The exception of course is giving tactical info yourself. Such as: Combat events that require immidiate response from others. If you feel you know a better tactic to handle an encounter you are free to tell us outside the pull.

Speak and Listen
We want you to have a working headset with microphone. We do not want to hear ourselves through your speakers. We want to hear you on a normal tone and volume level.

Moaning/Arguing During Raid - It already happend, deal with it.
Ofcourse not everyone will agree with all Guild Rules made by the officer team wether it be Tactics, Raid Set up or loot Issuses. Under NO circumstances do you take it up infront of the whole raid grp you either wait till after raid and ask to speak to an officer in private or you wisper an officer during the moment of disagreement.
There will be times when you get singled out as the faulty person in a raid because you messed up. We will shout at you, you will hate us for this, this is allowed. But at the end of the day we are giving you a working guild and we expect everyone to try there hardest to keep us up there. We will always respect you if you respect us.
Failure to comply with this set of rules will result in a warning or removal from the raid or guild.

Raidtimes
Raid Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Raid Times: 18:55 - 00:00
It might occur that we have to extend raidtimes due to progress, this will be between 5 mins to 2 hours, and when new content is our we might add raiddays on Friday and Saturday if we so choose.

Loot Council
DKP is a thing of the past. We use a loot council which combines common sense, effort and devotion. The GuildMaster combined with the Officers will discuss item distribution, we take all things into account. And we do mean ALL things into account.

Alts
They all belong to us ie they must be in the guild except for lowlevel bank alts, Failiure to comply with this equals removal from guild because your now part of our guild so we can easily find you.

Attendance
Don't apply if you cannot uphold a 90% raid attendance. Activity is the key to progress and thus the key to our succces.
This means you can miss one raid every 2 weeks, there can be exceptions but this is unlikely to occur.

Uphold the rules.

Btw - if any thing should be missing or should be subject of change the Guildmaster can add and remove rules as he/she sees fit
